Organic Carrier Oil Base

Original version only: Organic Sweet Almond Oil
Nut Free version only: Organic Jojoba Oil
Dilutes the Blend's essential oil concentrations to levels that are safe for daily use, yet still potent enough to support us along our path to optimal oral health.

Organic Cinnamon Leaf Essential Oil

Warms the formula & stops tooth decay-related pathogens (Streptococcus Mutans) so health-supporting microbes can thrive.

Organic Peppermint Essential Oil

Cools inflammation & stops gum-disease-related pathogens (e.g. P. Gingivalis) so health-supporting microbes can thrive.

Organic Spearmint Essential Oil

What’s in the HealThy Mouth Blend? (And why is it so effective?)

The HealThy Mouth Bend is a blend of essential oils in a carrier oil base. Each essential oil plays a specific role for supporting oral health.

How do I get the HealThy Mouth Blend drops out of the bottle?

Fully invert the bottle, count to 3, and the drops should begin flowing.

Drip 1 to 3 the drops onto a toothbrush for brushing, onto a clean finger for a gum massage or to supercharge your floss by coating the string with the Blend, into some water to use it as a mouthwash, or onto your spoonful of oil for oil pulling.

The Blend can be used on its own, in conjunction with your normal toothpaste, or mixed with our other products, like Shine Remineralizing Tooth Whitening Powder.

Are essential oils safe to use in the mouth daily? Do they help or harm the oral microbiome?

It depends!

If the essential oils are properly diluted (like the ones in our HealThy Mouth Blend), then yes, they are safe and beneficial to use daily.

If the essential oils aren't properly diluted, then they can potentially harm delicate oral tissue and create imbalances in the oral microbiome.

It’s different formula then when I purchased in past

It seems like a stronger formula from when I had purchased in the past. I am noticing it pours out quicker from the top of the bottle now as well. I preferred the slower drip and the less strong formula.

Burns the mouth

I really wanted to like this. I’ve read all their literature and fully support the ideas and methods, but this oil is too intense! There is such a thing as over doing it. The mouth is a delicate balance of highly specific bacteria, and I am concerned that the anti bacterial nature of these harsher oils is indiscriminately stripping my mouth of everything - yes the bad, but also the good. My tissues feel burnt after using only a drop or two each time. I likely won’t be using the rest, it’s sadly just too harsh, similarly to the junior toothbrushes. The brushes with the spaced out bristles are great - soft with the right amount of give - but the junior brush (which I got for smaller hard to reach areas) rips my gums even with a two fingered light grip. I had raw gums for a week after using it! Not sure how it would fair given to the kids it’s designed for. Frustrated that I bought the 5 pack of toothbrushes now. (I would have left this review under the brushes but the email invitation to review wouldn’t allow it). Love, love love the floss!
