MCHA
Hydroxy-apa-wha?!
Microcrystalline hydroxyapatite. It’s a mouthful to say (which is why we call it "MCHA" for short), but it nourishes our smile in such a beautiful and simple way: it helps to remineralize teeth by giving them the exact same minerals they’re made of!
But, like so many things in life, not all MCHA is created equal...
Quantity Matters
That's why MCHA is the first and main ingredient in our Shine Remineralizing Tooth Whitening Powder.
(For DIY fans who prefer to make their own tooth powder, we also offer MCHA bulk bags.)
What is MCHA exactly?
MC = Microcrystalline
(Small crystals)
HA = Hydroxyapatite
(Calcium & phosphorus, plus a little oxygen & hydrogen)
The Right Combination of Minerals
The minerals in our MCHA are in a combination of10 parts calcium to 6 parts phosphorus—that's the same ratio found in teeth!
In the Right Particle Size
Our MCHA is milled to a particle size that's small enough to go into solution with our saliva.
This solution can then work its way into the tiny pores and tubules of teeth, delivering the MCHA's minerals right where they're most needed.
Quality Matters
Our MCHA is a naturally-derived (not lab-synthesized), finely-milled powdered bone from grass-fed New Zealand cattle.
And, our production team’s GMP-certified lab tests every batch for purity and contaminants. Learn more here.
