Unlike other whitening products that can actually damage enamel, the primary intent behind OraWellness Shine is to remineralize our teeth. Once we restore lost minerals, we can address the secondary focus of Shine: to gently encourage a brighter, whiter smile.
How does Shine remineralize our teeth?
Shine combines 3 remineralization strategies to create a unique remineralization product solution the world has never seen.
The reason Shine works so well is because:
~ the minerals are exactly the same as the minerals our teeth are made of
~ the minerals are in a very bio-available form
~ the particle size is tiny in order to be incorporated into the tiny tubule structure of our teeth
~ the formula uses a unique delivery method to bring the minerals exactly to where our teeth need support
So, one reason Shine works so well to reverse tooth decay is simply that Shine makes available tiny particles of the exact mineral structure our teeth are made of available to rebuild and restore the minerals that have been lost from our teeth.
Whitening teeth is risky business because most whitening products are actually bleaching agents which can cause a loss of minerals and weaken the teeth.
Researchers found that there's one ingredient, white kaolin clay powder, that is the most effective way to whiten and clean the teeth without damaging enamel.
The good news is even staining on veneers or composite (white) fillings on front teeth can be polished whiter. These dental materials are at risk of being stained by common staining foods/drinks (coffee, tea, red wine, green smoothies, blueberries, etc).
OraWellness Shine even helps to remove stains from these dental restorations.

How to use OraWellness Shine
1 For general remineralizing support, simply apply Shine to a moistened toothbrush and brush as normal.
2 To increase whitening benefit, focus on the front teeth when first starting to brush.
3 For extra remineralizing support, swish Shine around your mouth for several minutes after brushing.
What others are saying about using Shine...
"Shine is just amazing. It’s a step beyond my own tooth powder that I make. I thought it couldn’t get any better than my own homemade, but Shine is something very stellar!
I noticed a difference after just a couple of times of using it. My teeth are brighter and whiter and I love the taste as well. The bright smile I have now makes me look a lot younger than I really am! Who doesn’t want that??!" Jeanie K, Colorado
"I hope you keep making Shine. It is an incredible product. It has reduced my tooth sensitivity by 80-90% and it has whitened my teeth. For those of us who will not use chemical bleaches and strips, this product is amazing." Ana M, Florida

I bought this product with the goal of reversing 2 small cavities I have developing.
It is too soon to know if that will be accomplished as I dont go back to the dentist until June/July.
I am happy that I have found Shine. I have noticed a cleaner feeling mouth and an improvement in the color of my teeth. As I continue to use the product (its only been about a month) I am hoping to discover more positives
I bought this for my family and I couldn’t be happier! All 8 of us have cleaner & whiter teeth. My mouth immediately felt cleaner & fresher. My teeth feel strong and my mouth is healthier for it. Plus, the flavor of Shine (peppermint) makes our breath fresher! We will buy again!
I rated this product a 3, or neutral, because I have only been using Shine-Remineralizing Tooth Whitening Powder for about 2 weeks. So far I like the product. I like that it makes my teeth feel really clean afterwards. I think I’ll need to use it a bit longer to comment on whether it whitens my teeth.
I've used Shine tooth powder for a couple of years now and I love it. For some reason, the most recent refill bag I bought has larger crystals of xylitol in it, about the size of a sesame seed. It's a little crunchy, but seems to work just fine!

Shine's normal texture is finely ground. However, Shine is made in large batches, and it is my understanding that there can be some minor texture and/or flavor differences between batches.
If moisture somehow got into the bulk bag of Shine, that could explain the difference in texture that you're noticing. Leaving the bulk bag open in between uses, holding a damp toothbrush over the open bag, or dipping a damp brush into the bulk bag, or transferring Shine to a jar without a tight-fitting lid could change the texture of the powder.
Thank you and Aloha! :)
Good results as I expected
I have four teeth that has been seriously compromised, but they are all healing nicely. In about 6 months, they should show major improvement in gaining back lost structure and continue to form firm calcium regrowth. I look forward to gaining full use of these teeth again.
