Shine—Remineralizing Tooth Whitening Powder with Hydroxyapatite

To help with remineralization, Shine just needs to be able mix with your saliva and touch your natural tooth structure. We suggest using it twice daily (in the morning and evening) to help keep your teeth strong and prevent cavities.

Shine is intended to be a toothpaste alternative, so most people brush with Shine alone or with our HealThy Mouth Blend. But if you'd prefer, you can also use Shine in conjunction with regular toothpaste.

To help with whitening, brush with dry Shine on an 'as-needed' basis. When dry Shine is applied to the teeth (as opposed to Shine that has mixed with your saliva), it has more gentle abrasive action to help lift stains that have accumulated from the foods and drinks that we consume.

Here's how to do this:

• Moisten your toothbrush bristles
• Scoop some Shine into the palm of your hand
• Dip your moistened toothbrush bristles into the dry Shine in your hand
• Brush with the dry Shine.

Brush small sections of your teeth and keep re-dipping your brush into the Shine in your hand to get dry Shine onto each new section.

Avoid dipping moistened toothbrush bristles directly into a jar of Shine because doing so can cause the powder to clump over time.

Each Shine jar contains a wooden spoon that you can use to scoop up some powder. Begin by adding a scoop of powder into a small bowl or the palm of your hand. Then you can repeatedly dip your moistened toothbrush into that scoop of Shine without getting any moisture in the jar.

Boost remineralization with more 'time on the teeth':

After brushing, swish with the leftover Shine/saliva solution for 1-2 minutes, then spit and (if desired) rinse. For best results, use our ‘Mouth Probiotics’ technique to swish the Shine/saliva solution.

Provide extra 'in the mouth' support:

Feel free to apply a little Shine or HealThy Mouth Blend directly onto problem areas and let it sit without rinsing.

How to reduce Shine's 'spicyness' for children:

Mix Shine powder 50/50 with organic coconut oil (which is also great for oral health) to form a more mild-tasting paste to brush with.

Supercharge your oil pulls:

Feel free to add some Shine powder to your oil for oil pulling to enhance its remineralization capacity and flavor.
